My football journey began in 2010. As a new teacher at Harrison Trimble High School, I quickly found myself on the sidelines cheering on our high school football team, embracing the energy, teamwork, and community that define the sport.
My involvement deepened in 2020 when my son joined the U6 program with the GMFA. What began as a parent supporting from the stands soon grew into a deeper commitment. In 2022, when my daughter started playing with the U14 Royals, I was spending nearly every day at the field, fully immersed in the Fall tackle football season and the vibrant community that surrounds it.
Inspired by the sense of belonging and connection the GMFA fostered, I joined the Board of Directors in 2023 to give back to an organization that had made football feel like family. Over the years, I have built meaningful friendships and strong community connections through the sport.
For me, football is more than just a game, it’s a family. I believe everyone can find their place within the football family, whether on the field, on the sidelines, or behind the scenes supporting the next generation of athletes.
I got interested in fitness and well-being when I started playing football in ninth grade. In high school, I earned all-conference honors during my senior year, which deepened my love for the sport. After high school, I played at Concordia University Wisconsin, where my team won the conference championship in 2002.
I began coaching in 2007 at Buckhorn High School in New Market, Alabama, as the Grade 9 Defensive Line Coach and Defensive Coordinator. In 2011, I moved to Canada and coached at Mount Allison University. After a break, I started volunteering with GMFA four years ago, coaching U10 and U12 teams, and I’ll be coaching the U14 age group this year.
I am a certified Personal Trainer and hold a Strength and Conditioning certification, which helped me create effective winter training programs for our athletes. My coaching philosophy is simple: prioritize safety, have fun, and aim to improve just 1% every day.

In my 30 years being involved in football it has given me many things including; life-long friendships, invaluable life skills such as dedication, perseverance and teamwork – all of which has had an immensely positive impact on my life.
As a parent with a child playing football in GMFA, I have enjoyed coaching and volunteering. I’m excited for the opportunity as a Director with GMFA to continue helping and supporting the growth of both the sport and the youth that enjoy playing it.

I grew up in Langley, British Columbia, where I played football as a running back with Langley Minor Football before continuing with Cloverdale Midget.
I have more than 35 years of experience in the restaurant industry, including executive leadership roles with Earls and Recipe Unlimited. My professional development includes executive coaching through Royal Roads University, Landmark Education, Lightyear Leadership, and The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center. I’m also a local business owner and am always looking for new ways to support our community. Throughout my career, our businesses have consistently supported youth in sport and local initiatives.
When my son Hudson chose to play football — both tackle and flag — I was ecstatic. Since then, I’ve been actively coaching his teams within the GMFA, helping young athletes develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game. I’m passionate about giving back to the community and supporting the growth of youth football in Greater Moncton.

I have been around the sport of football for nearly 30 years as a player and a coach. I began my football coaching experience in Grade 12 and have committed more than 20 seasons since, coaching at various levels with the GMFA and high school.
I have served my community as a business owner and served on various non-profit boards and municipal committees. I count it a privilege, honour and great responsibility to continue to invest in our athletes here at the GMFA on the board of directors.
The sacrifice, hard work and perseverance that football teaches athletes is incredibly transferable to our youth becoming better students, community members and innovators in their future careers.

I began playing football in youth programs at the age of 9 and went on to play for Riverview High School, Champlain College and St. Francis Xavier University.
After returning to Riverview in 2023, I became involved in coaching with the Riverview Royals U14 and U16 programs of the Greater Moncton Football Association (GMFA)
I value building strong team environments, emphasizing fundamentals, and supporting athletes in their growth both on and off the field.
Professionally, I am an entrepreneur who brings a practical, collaborative, solutions-focused approach to my work, along with an ongoing commitment to volunteerism and supporting initiatives that create opportunities for youth.
My football life began in then Moncton Minor Football with Riverview Pee Wee Lions when my family moved to town in 1975, and new friends got me involved. I was active in other sports with football being my favourite through Bantam Ti-Cats, Varsity, university and still today.
With past teammates, I began coaching expansion Riverview Pee Wee Rams after university in late 1980s then Riverview Bantam Ti-Cats for several years.
After a coaching hiatus and with permission of my wife Michele, I returned to coach teams my sons Nate & Ben joined. Subsequently I joined the BOD as Riverview Zone Rep with renamed Greater Moncton Football Association. I then served as GMFA VP before serving as president beginning in 2019.
As it can be for our area youth, football has very much been a positive influence throughout my life.

I was a multi-sport athlete growing up, but my passion for Football began as a quarterback at SJHS in 1987 under the legendary coach Fran ‘the Bear” Hughes. I then moved to Ontario, playing from 1989 to 1991 in the OMMFL playing for the Mississauga Wolverines and Gary Smith. Returning to Atlantic Canada in 1991, I earned my B.A. from Mount Allison University before entering the corporate world.
In 2013 I attended the NBIAA High School Championship at Rocky Stone Field, and that day committed to volunteering with the GMFA. In Spring of 2014 I began coaching and continue to do so. I am committed to helping the youth of Greater Moncton learn the great game of football while focusing on Safety, Leadership and Teamwork. My focus is on having lots of fun and learning the skills properly at a young age in preparation for the next level. Over the years I have filled many roles within the GMFA and currently I am the Fields & Equipment Manager. I encourage you to consider giving back, the rewards are endless!!!
